Steve Invisible
Born on the shores of the River Barrow and Grand Canal, Steve Invisible has always had the urge to write. From a young age he started writing poems, short stories, essays etc, most of them were shite, but he kept going. When in college he became the Bass player with Silent Quarter, whose project, Welcome To The Silent Quarter, remains one of the greatest unreleased albums of all time! However, having 3 creative people together stiffled the potential of the band and eventually it degenerated. Following this Steve dropped his Bass and picked up its 6 stringed cousin instead. One night when seriously pissed he had a moment of inspiration. Instead of continuing down the singer songwriter route that every poet with 3 chords and a guitar take he came up with the idea for Steve & The Invisibles. |

Joanna Invisible
Born in Dublin in the early 80's, at a time when U2 were about to begin their world domination and Irish indigenous music really began to take off, Joanna Invisible grew up with some classic songwriters, namely Bros and New Kids on the Block.
Thankfully, in spite of the dodgy start, music soon became a drug that flowed through the very fibre of her being, and from an early age she showed a keen interest in many musical instruments, namely the piano and guitar Of a naturally shy disposition it took Joanna Invisible a while to sing in front of other people, but when she did the sense of fragility and heartache in her voice astounded supporters and critics alike, put simply, a star was in the making. An unsuccessful stint as lead singer of a band whose name has been consigned to the waste bin of history nearly led to Joanna quitting music. However, as fate would dictate she ended up on the same college course as Steve Invisible, and a magical songwriting partnership was born. Ultimatly, fate conspired against Silent Quarter, however, with Joanna Invisible on board, Steve & The Inivisibles chances of sharing their music with the world has increased ten fold.
Dawn Invisible
She hails from the smallest most insignificant county in Ireland.
She shares her birthday with Donny Osmond.
I introduce to you, Dawn Invisible.
Born & Raised in Co Louth, she started playing piano at the age of 8, and it was during this time that she was also very fond of the famous Irish "Legends" Boyzone, unfortunately her favourite was “the gay one” and when he revealed his little secret, she realised that the band really were “a bit shite”, so she went in search of some real decent music, and over the years she’s discovered music is her one true passion, she’s so sad, she gets her kicks from dicussing chord progressions.
After a 3 year on-off relationship with her acoustic guitar, she sorted him out and started playing him at the age of 15. Now, at the ripe old age of 17, Dawn Invisible, now in her final year in school, has added a bass and a cello to her family. She attempts to write, and like Steves early stuff, most of it is shite, but she keeps going. She is looking forward to an endless beautiful, inspiring, fulfilling, passionate, emotional, poignant and flowing stream of success as an Invisible.
